As I was thinking on the show at work the other day, I realized that LEVERAGE is the A-TEAM of the 21st century. Check out the similarities in what I now call "Katreniah's Leveraged A-Team Theory" (KLATT for short):
- The teams in both shows help the powerless.
- Both shows feature a team who have become a strange family.
- Nate is like Hannibal, the leader of the group.
- Sophie and "The Faceman" both use their looks and charm while working a grift.
- Eliot and Mr. T both exude badass.
- While she might not be as "mad" as "Howling Mad" Murdock, Parker is the one who's a little...unusual but who is always needed on a job.
- I might be mistaken, but no one (so far) has died on either show (and Nate's son doesn't count, because he passed away before the first episode). Eliot "might" have killed the Butcher of Kiev, but I think none of us would be surprised if the Butcher showed back up somewhere along the way with an axe to grind.
- Both shows contain explosions and a car flip or two, but no one dies there either.
- Nate may not say it, but it's obvious that he, too, loves it "when a plan comes together".
